About Lindsay
Believing that to be 99% known is to be unknown Lindsay desires for clients to feel safe and free to be transparent about their struggles. Lindsay is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. After graduating from Auburn University, she obtained her Masters in Professional Counseling with a specialization in children and adolescents from Richmont University. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting. Since 2009 Lindsay has counseled in a variety of settings from residential to private practice to schools. She has taught classes on healthy relationships, communication skills, conflict resolution skills and anger management. Lindsay has worked in multiple school systems in Jefferson County providing school based counseling services and currently serves in Mountain Brook Schools. She is honored each time a client allows her to enter into their brokenness and pain and walk alongside them on their journey towards healing. Lindsay loves quality time, intentional conversations, trail running, reading, chocolate milk, and puzzles. She eats ice cream 7 days a week, never eating the same flavor two days in a row! She is active in her local church.
